Discounts for AOPA members at IOANNINA (LGIO)

The HOTEL Operators Association of IOANNINA province, jointly with AOPA HELLAS, conducted alliances and a list with all the affiliated businesses and the respective discounts that will offer from now on to the owners and crews of aircrafts that will use the International Airport of IOANNINA (LGIO) “King Pyrros”, very suitable for International entry point in Greece with an aircraft.

The discounts are provided by a variety of business including Hotels , restaurants, transportation, museums , spa / personal treatment , outdoor activities agencies in the perfect nature of the province, traditional dance workshops, art craft & jewelry , delicacies and even typing services. This joint effort is highly appreciated and welcome from the IOANNINA business associations due to the credibility and status of the biggest Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association in Greece with 854 members: AOPA HELLAS .

Ground Handling

Ground Handling is compulsory in Greece where available. AOPA has signed agreements with Handling Agents so that its active members - including other AOPA's members - get the discount.

AMEs

In a campaign to alleviate the financial burden on pilots, AOPA has contacted all AMEs (Aero Medical Examiners) and some of them have volunteered to charge lower prices to members of the AOPA Hellas that renew their medical certificates.

This offer comes at a difficult economic situation and takes into account the efforts made by AOPA Hellas for General Aviation.

The names of participating doctors is listed in the table below. As the cooperation is voluntary, the list may change in the future.
