International Conference for General Aviation, Athens 22nd January 2018

AOPA HELLAS with the cooperation of IAOPA Europe are organizing an international General Aviation Conference in Divani Caravel Hotel, Athens on Monday afternoon of 22nd January 2018. Aim of the conference is for the Greek Aviation community to be informed about the important changes in flight safety subjects which EASA legislation brings, under the a new program with the title of General Aviation Roadmap.

Main speaker will be Boudewijn Deuss EASA Regulations Officer. Additional speakers will be Mr. Craig Spence, Secretary General of IAOPA which represents 79 national AOPAs with more than 470.000 members and Dr. Michael Erb, Senior Vice President IAOPA – Europe.


AOPA General Assembly - Naxos 16-17/5

AOPA Gen Assembly for 2015 is to be held in NAXOS Island at 16 and 17 of May. All members are invited to attend. In case this is not possible they may authorize another person or they may authorize the Board of AOPA. All members should attend either in person or by authorization.

AFW 2014 AOPA Hellas Fly-In Outlook and Participation Form

Last year the 2nd Athens Flying Week 2013, was a huge success. The 3rd AFW is coming soon. It will be held again during the last week (22 – 28) of September. A lot of aviation activities are planned in the Athens area, to arouse public awareness of general aviation. These activities include exhibitions of aviation-related material in selected places in central Athens, seaplane and aerobatic operations along the Athens coastline, a Greek aviation conference and the Regional Meeting of IAOPA EUROPE to be held in Athens, on September 27.




Athens Flying Week organizes, in collaboration with AOPA HELLAS, on 25/09 – 30/09/2013, the Athens Flying Week FlyIn 2013, under the Athens Flying Week, the largest aviation event in Athens (where20,000 people attended in 2012), which will be held the last week of September, at the military airport of Tatoi (23-29 September 2013).

By special permission from the Ministry of Defense and the Hellenic Air Force, for three days the military airfield of Tatoi will open for the second year its gates to the public, which will be able to experience a unique air show, as well as a series of individual events.
