1.    MEETING WITH THE GOVERNOR.  

AOPA President Mr Anton Koutsoudakis had a long meeting with HCAA Governor Mr Koukis. Among the items discussed were Airspace Classification and high cost of HCAA services to pilots. The Governor promised to consider again AOPA positions.


2.    LANDING SITES ON THE SEA

Hellenic Coast Guard started to allocate landing sites on the sea, for private sea planes It seems a new page is about to open in sea plane operations in the country.


3.    PROBLEMS WITH THE CAA

AOPA Greece is always fighting with CAA, on a variety of items.


4.    INTERNATIONAL “WOMAN’S DAY”

Saturday March 8, is named as “International Woman’s Day”   AOPA Greece will honor pictures with pretty woman riding smart airplanes. 


5.    VARIOUS ITEMS

Various small items, of interest to aviation minded persons, are presented.


6.    MESOGEION AIRCLUB

Mesogeion Airclub is a busy air club in Athens. It operates Cessna aircraft and runs a PPL school at Tatoi airport.


7.    EGNATIA AVIATION

Egnatia Aviation is one of the biggest aviation training establishments in Europe. Based at Kavala Megas Alexandros International Airport counts more than 13.000 flying hours per year
