  1. GENERAL ENSEMBLE OF AOPA HELLAS MEMBERS

It was a highly successful event, Members had the opportunity to know each other. At the same time, AOPA board managed to promote the cause of General Aviation with local officials

 

  1. New European licenses EASA FCL or Part FCL

CAA of Greece will start issuing new EASA licenses on April 8, 2013.  AOPA Greece created a “licensing office” to assist members when they exchange their old JAR licenses with the new ones. You may contact the new office by e-mail info@aora.gr

 

  1. AOPA Greece is against new rules regarding operation of landing sites

AOPA Greece is strongly against the new rules on operation of unattended landing sites. We addressed the Minister and high standing officials and explained our position.

 

  1. RBF

You can find on the news stands, the latest edition of RBF (number 47).  AOPA Greece is in close cooperation with the publishers of the only General Aviation magazine in Greek language.

 

  1. New Corporate members in AOPA

AOPA Greece is receiving new applications, from aviation companies wishing to become corporate members.  We will be glad to have a close cooperation with the industry. Details will be presented in the coming editions of our news letter.

Three (3) Air shows are now in the aviation calendar in Greece
