ATHENS FLYING WEEK Sept 23 -29

 

Athens Flying Week organizes, in collaboration with AOPA HELLAS, on 25/09 – 30/09/2013, the Athens Flying Week FlyIn 2013, under the Athens Flying Week, the largest aviation event in Athens (where20,000 people attended in 2012), which will be held the last week of September, at the military airport of Tatoi (23-29 September 2013).

By special permission from the Ministry of Defense and the Hellenic Air Force, for three days the military airfield of Tatoi will open for the second year its gates to the public, which will be able to experience a unique air show, as well as a series of individual events.

The aviation week of Athens, which will be held from 23 to 27 September 2013, will be implemented through promotional events in central places of Athens and a wide range of activities, leading to the three-day air show at Tatoi Airport (27-29 September 2013).

At Tatoi Airport will be held the Air Show, plus a series of ground events, activities & happenings, such as: exhibition, kids park, flight simulators, aeromodelism, addiction flights as well as hospitality area, dj line ups & happenings.

In more details, at Tatoi military Airport the visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a breathtaking air show performed by, among others, world famous pilots, such as: the Netherlands Air Force (with the F-16 Demo), the Alpha Jet of Red Bull, Jurgis Kairys, Luca Bertossio, Francesco Fornabaio with Melanie Astles, Aeroclub Romania, Blue Circe, WeFly! Team and the helicopter pilot Mr. Ververelis.

Every step of the project is planned in order to provide a unique experience to those who want to live the thrill and excitement of flights. Our aim is to stimulate these feelings to children, youngsters and families, as well as to aviation pilots.
