Improved situational awareness & safety traffic for latest Airmate app, reaching 250,000 users milestone

To celebrate this achievement, AIRMATE new iOS version 3.15 boasts additional situational awareness and safety features:

• improved mapping capability with instant map switch between vector, raster and satellite modes;

• safety traffic display with proximity detection, using either traffic received from Airmate traffic hub over mobile network (including the one shared by opt-in Airmate users) or hardware ADS-B receivers that provide greater accuracy;

• Alerts while approaching or entering regulated or restricted areas;

• Display of AW-METAR and AW-TAF covering any airport in the world,

  thanks to our partnership with airportweather.com.

  Those improvements will be available soon in the Android version of Airmate. Both iOS and Android versions of Airmate are available free of charge and don’t require any paying subscription.
